River the film is an extraordinary tale of nature and humans as partners and adversaries. Rivers have shaped the earth and shaped the human species. We love and abuse them, worship and pollute them, flood them for wealth and turn to them for solace.
This accompanying album presents the soundtrack from a cinematic experience like no other, with music by Bach, Vivaldi, Ravel, Mahler, Sibelius, Jonny Greenwood, Richard Tognetti and more, including a new collaboration with William Barton.
